Value of the Minimum Monthly Guaranteed Retribution for 2021

06 January, 2021Decree-Law no. 109-A/2020 of 31 December was published, setting the minimum monthly guaranteed remuneration for 2021.
Weighted the conditions to further develop the real appreciation trajectory of the minimum monthly guaranteed remuneration, and in view of the Government’s commitment, the value of the minimum monthly guaranteed remuneration was increased to 665 euros, with effect from 1 January 2021.
In order to ensure better wages and to strengthen the fight against inequalities, the Government has included in its Programme a commitment to deepen the national minimum wage appreciation trajectory, with the aim of reaching 750 euros by 2023.
The Decree-Law 109-A/2020 of 31 December came into force on 1 January 2021.
