Prior to joining Espanha e Associados, she worked at Luís Laureano e Associados law firm from 2007 to 2019.

She has experience in the areas of labour law, labour litigation, collective bargaining, social security law, civil law and civil litigation. She has been working in the areas of employment law and has advised the human resources departments of national and international clients on a daily basis in sectors like fitness, food and beverage, tourism, medical services and technology.

Filipa graduated in law in 2007 from the Law Faculty of Universidade de Nova Lisboa. She took a post-graduate degree in Labour Law at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Lisboa in 2013 and a post-graduate degree in Labour Law and Social Security at the Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 2015.
