Security of cyberspace

13 August, 2018Law No. 46/2018 of 13 August, which establishes the legal regime for the security of cyberspace, was published today, transposing Directive 2016/1148 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 6 July 2016 on measures to ensure a high common level of security of networks and information systems throughout the Union.
This law shall apply:
a) To the Public Administration;
b) Critical infrastructure operators;
(c) essential service operators;
d) To digital service providers;
e) To any other entities that use networks and information systems.
The safety requirements will be defined in special legislation.
