The Finance Law Department comprises a team of specialists in banking, insurance, pension funds and capital markets law.

 

The department’s primary goal is to monitor closely and on an ongoing basis the client’s business, with a view to creating value and mitigating inherent risks. The work done by the Finance Law Department is based on a long-lasting partnership with the client which favours innovation, proactive counselling and preventive legal practice.

 

The following areas of practice warrant particular note:

  • banking law, consumer credit, credit facility agreements, payment systems, prevention of money laundering, housing and mortgage loans, structured deposits, risk management, internal control and banking compliance;
  • insurance law, unit-linked investment fund insurance, insurance mediation/distribution, prudential insurance activity, insurance and capitalisation operations, pension plans and funds, retirement and/or education savings funds, market behaviour and regulatory law;
  • capital markets, collective investment undertakings, investment funds, financial intermediation, asset management and composition.
