08 April, 2020The Decree – Law no. 13/2020 of 7 April was published, amending the certification by electronic means of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
This diploma is motivated by the numerous credit lines supporting various sectors of the economy, since in order to access them companies must obtain SME Certification – a service from IAPMEI which, by exclusively electronic means, attests the compliance of micro, small and medium enterprises by national companies.
This decree enters into force on July 1, 2020, however, as to the penalties for disqualification from new certification, the Decree-Law enters into force immediately.
Thus, the rule providing for the application of such penalties, which are no longer provided for by law, is repealed with immediate effect.
On the other hand, the decree lapses the penalties for disqualification from new certification that have been applied in the meantime, and the companies subject to this penalty can immediately re-certify themselves.
